Absolutely not!  Doctors of Chiropractic are port of entry doctors for most insurance companies.  This means you do not need to get a referral before visiting your chiropractor.  This also applies to work injuries and automobile accident injuries.  If it is necessary, chiropractors can make appropriate referrals to other health care professionals.
